The song I chose for this weeks song share is Fa Um Fon Khue Khon Um Nong by Ki Daophet Nouhouang. I chose this song because when I looked him up, this was a very popular song that currently has 37,558,276 views on youtube. The song uses the elements of at least 1 string instrument with also using some sort of woodwind sounding instrument. I can’t find a translation of the song lyrics but based on the tone of the song and watching the music video, it seems as if the song is meant to be a song thats more on the sad side of music. After doing some research on Ki Daophet Nouhouang, he unfortunately passed away in 2020, but became big around the year 2000. When looking at some of his other songs on youtube, he has multiple songs that are in the millions for view count. I really enjoyed the use of multiple instruments in this song and other songs he does as well and would definitly recommend a listen.
