I chose a song titled “Escape From The Hell”, by artists unknown (at least to me). My reason for choosing this song was because it sounded exactly like what I would imagine if prompted to think of Middle Eastern Music. As some of the comments under the video point it, this type of song can be heard in almost every western movie that takes place in the Middle East. On a technical note, I recognize the zurna, which is quite hard to miss, and also what I would guess is a riqq, based on the metallic chimes in combination with the standard drum sound. Overall, I think the Middle East has provided some of the best sounding music of all our units so far. The only unit I would put above it would be South Asia.
