This is actually one of my favorite songs from Coco and I believe that while it is a children’s movie, the depiction of mariachi music is a pretty accurate one. The movie is an emotional rollercoaster and this song is the perfect song for the ending of the movie. In this clip, you can see Miguel wearing a traditional mariachi outfit and playing a guitar. This film also takes place during Día de los Muertos or Day of the Dead, and you can see some of the traditional decorations and foods of this holiday.
