I had already known about this example as it was one of Bob Marley’s most famous songs.  I chose this song because I had used it as a walk up song for baseball.  One of the reasons that I chose this song and used it as my walk up song is the cool island vibe it has.  The beat and melody of the song is typical of Reggae music, and I find it very relaxing.  Additionally, I enjoy the positive lyrics of the song that stress staying true to who you are no matter what others may think of you.  I think that this is an important lesson for everyone to know in a world that is obsessed with worrying about what others think of themselves.
