The song that I chose for my Song share assignment is Bhakta Triveni, written by Suresh Wadkar in 2003. This song is categorized as traditional Indian folk music. The song has a variety of instruments being played. However, the most prominently used instruments are, little bells, vocals, flutes and drums. The song’s tempo is slowed down allowing for a calmer feel to the song. The vocals take main precedence in this song, and is complemented by the bell’s light ring. The lead vocalist Suresh Wadkar was born August 7, 1955 and is an Indian playback singer. He has performed in both multiple albums and movies. Although this song is not for me I highly recommend this song to anyone who is interested in traditional Indian folk music.
