I decided to choose the song we listened to in class which was the Call of Prayer by Saifullajan Musaev. I chose this because it has a relaxing kind of tone and temp to it. The call of prayer consists of Adhan which is non music and means “holy speech”. This prayer song is preformed 5 times daily. It has a melodically improvised system to it as well. This song also is rhythmically improvised creating a sense of phrases. I also picked this Song as my song share because even though its in Arabic It reminds me of when I went to church with my parents and my family and they would sing prayer songs that had the same tone and rhythmic melody to it and had the same kind of voice tempo and rages as the priest did in church.
