The song that I chose for my song share assignment is A’tf Yajmyl, written by Muhammad Abd Al Muttalib. Out of all of the songs that I have had to listen to for my songshare assignments this one is my favorite. It starts with a small drum and signing. It has a Frank Senatra feel to it. The audio is old and you can hear that with the quality of the microphone. However, you can hear really strong vocals coming from Muhammad Abd Al Muttalib. There are background singers that add to the depth of this piece. The piece has a smooth jazz feel to it. You get the feeling that this piece could be him explaining his feelings for a woman. I feel this way because it sounds similar to songs in western music.  The main focus of this piece is on Muhammad Abd Al Muttalib’s vocals, and it does not disappoint. I would highly recommend this song to anyone who is interested in older music.
