It is neither overly complex nor should it, as it is likely simple with both the tempo and lyrics being slow and easy to follow along with. That way if someone listens to it and agrees with the message, they can have an easy time replicating it elsewhere. The message does a good and more importantly catchy job of letting people know both what Fidel was about and what the revolution he was fighting for was about. Of course, in a light that favors him of course. Rounding back to the music itself, the guitar and chorus do a good job in spreading this message. Guitars are a fairly common instrument in Cuba and the chorus promotes a type of unity that says “come on and join us”.
