“Amor Eterno” is one of the most representative songs from Juan Gabriel, in which eternal love and loss are poured out. This song was an homage to his late mother, it became a cultural anthem commonly played throughout Mexico at funerals and other tributes. Its heartfelt lyrics and emotional delivery capture feelings of grief and love. I find that this song shows not only the ability of Juan Gabriel as a songwriter but also how much music can connect with personal and collective feelings.  I really enjoyed researching this song.
