I liked the use of instruments. The drums and the accordion like sound. I thought it was interesting when there was an echo part between the voice and the flute and then they joined in together. The reading said that they do not really “sing” but an in between of singing and speaking. I really heard that in how she articulated. It had pitch but had staccato traits. This song is supposed to be a dancing song, and I hear that in how it seems to have a forward direction that children could dance to. It reminded me of a sort of polka or square dancing feeling.
