I choose The song is “voice of The Moon” because of its purpose of the melody of the sitar along with the accompanying musicians. 

The song starts out to be slow, sweet melody and then gradually builds into a rhythmic melody. The music also reflects the Indian culture using the sitar along with traditional instruments like the cello and violin. 

I found this song captivating and really innovative. 

This video was a live concert sometimes was written in 2005 and appears on the album Rise that Anshouka Shankar did. 

The descriptions of the musical characteristics is the sitar. The sitar is a guitar-like sound that has been used in Pakistan and Hindustani music. It was performed in 2014 in France when it was recorded live. This piece I had chosen was a live concert in France.
