I chose to pick the song Arabian Palace, as it seemed to be one of the most popular songs listed on YouTube. As this song is called Arabian Palace, it of course is going to have cultural features from the Arabian Pensilvania. Typically Arabian music has great significance to its history; including ancient roots, diversity, and regional styles. Therefore Arabian music seems to have a great impact overall on world music, as it has so many different styles, contributions, and genres.
Music from the Middle East has a general musical style that has influenced Central Asia greatly. Throughout the Middle East region, religion has been a common factor between many songs; including the uniting of people of different cultures, nations, religions, ethnic backgrounds, and languages. Many people believe that music is the framework of a society/culture/religion within the Middle East, including Christianity, Islam, and Judaism.
