This song is one I’ve heard before, when we’ve studied different cultures in my high school band class. It is honestly a beautiful song, and something I’d hear in a spa or something I’d put in my study playlist. The meaning of high mountain flowing water is about having a cherished friendship. This song is almost 3,000 years old, and is a huge Chinese tradition. This song has aspects of silk instruments and the bamboo flute, along with the main instrument being the guqin.
