I chose the song ‘Jambalaya’, because I used to play it all the time in high school in band class on the ukulele. This song is traditionally played on an acoustic guitar, but when looking for a song I found a boy singing a cover of it using a Dan Co (or two-string fiddle). This was a creative take on the song, and it was interesting to hear another spin on it. While this song is traditionally an American country song sung by Hank Williams, it had the aspect of the Dan Co in it making it have that small unique aspect to a traditional American song.
