This piece is familiar to the other pieces we listened to through this chapter. The use of these drums is quite interesting and they use drums around their necks and chant. The Jalikunda is a band that performs a colorful and energetic piece of music from Senegal in West Africa. This also reminds of the polyrhythmic patterns where the performers are in sync in some points but, then have a different beat. They performed this at the African music festival where we see a lot of this kind of music.
