This song features Tahitian drums. Tahitian drums are very symbolic of the Polynesian culture. They represent the passion, vitality, and harmony of the Tahitian people. They are also known to pair these drums with dance which can bring people together in these big cultural gatherings. I chose this song because I tend to listen to a lot of melodic and harmonious songs, and I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and listen to songs with just percussion.
