I chose this song because when we learned about Samba in class, I immediately thought of this song. This song is from the movie Rio, and it takes place in Brazil. The song is played during a huge celebration called “carnival”. It incorporates many drums keeping the rhythms, while vocalist chant and sing. This song in the movie is sung and played while they performers are walking in a parade, which I would find difficult. This song makes me want to dance and have fun, mostly because of how upbeat it is and fast paced.
