I chose the song Three Little Birds by Bob Marley and the Wailers. This has been my Grandmas’s favorite song for over 40 years. Every time I hear it, I get happy because it brings back good times at my Grandmas’s house. She visits Jamaica every other year as it might be her favorite place ever. Reggae is her favorite music, and she sings it all over the house. This song is sung by Bob Marley, a Reggae singer who is probably the first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions Jamaica. Even though he passed away 40 years ago, his legacy is forever, not only in Jamaica, but throughout the world.

This song features Bob Marley singing the main vocalist part, accompanied by the band, the Wailers. They join in to emphasize certain phrases such as ” This is my message to you” and “Every little thing, is gonna be alright”. The instruments involved are the  Bass, drums, electric guitar, keyboard, and organ. They repeat the Chorus 5 times, which might explain why the song is so catchy.
