This song is from the movie Rio which is taking place in brazil. In class we heard some samba examples from brazil and thos would be another. The song specifically states “I want to party, I want to samba”. This song can show youth a glimpse of how other cultures music can intermix with our own. I choose this song because this is a song that I often listen to in my free time and thought that while its not a perfect representation of traditional samba but a known modern day representation.
