This is a takht piece written by Michael Ibrahim. Michael has been very involved in the Arabic music world, specifically in Takht music. He studied under a number of well-known musicians and has traveled around the globe for people to hear his own take on a fusion of “Western and Arab music idioms”. Around 2009-2010, he founded the National Arab Orchestra (NAO), which he himself plays the Oud in. There was not a summary or comment on the specifics of the piece in the video’s description or one that I could find myself online. I could not also find a good way of getting a translation of the piece’s name from Arabic to English.
