This song stood out to me for how the song is structured. It opens with a swell and whistled melody that caught my ear right away. I appreciated how they used space as a part of the song, having it function more than a wall of sound. Another thing that caught my attention was the name Cairokee and the pun it plays on karaoke. The band is from Egypt and the song is primarily centered around the vocals. There’s a level of ambient production that even when instruments enter like clean guitars, piano swells help further an immersive quality in the song. There’s multiple layers to the guitars and the vocals that emphasize the build in the song. Especially in the later half of the song the entrance of each instrument is necessary for the layers to come together and feel like a song with depth.
