Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng sings the most famous version of this song. If there was one artist who was popular throughout Eastern Asia, it would be her. This song is probably her most popular one and is my favorite out of the ones that I listened to by her. It’s also one of the most popular songs in China, Chinese-speaking countries, and communities around the world. This is also known as a “love song,” which I thought was cool to compare how their love songs are compared to ours. Oddly enough, I was able to tell that this was a love song from the vibes it was giving off from its tempo and melody. I picked this one because I liked it the most out of all the other songs I listened to in East Asia.
