The song that I selected was Wake Up With You by Enkh Erdene.  Erdene is a country and western singer from Erdenet, Mongolia, and has the nickname “Mongolian Cowboy”. He got recognition after winning the second season of Mongolia’s Got Talent, and he had a spot in AGT: Fantasy League.  Erdene doesn’t speak any English, however, he has released many covers of country songs popular in the West and then released this original song.  I chose this example because I thought it was amazing how he doesn’t speak English but can perfectly sing country music covers as well as his original songs.  I also really enjoy his voice and how his song had elements of country music that I enjoy such as an acoustic guitar as well as drums and a lower voice with a southern twang.
