The song I selected is a Carnatic piece by MS Subbulakshmi and Radha Viswanathan. The music displays vocalists who come in after a slow start. Then as the song goes on cultural instruments come into play and a steady rhythm can be found. Some translation I found were “I meditate upon the Little Gopala, who is served by my mind. I always meditate on those feet.” I like how the song is constantly changing, and more elements are added or taken away for a desired effect.
