I chose this song: An Innocent Warrior written by Mathew Ineleo, Sulata Foai-Aminatu, and Vai Mahina. Moana is one of my favorite childhood movies I could watch over and over and never get sick of watching. An Innocent Warrior is played in the first movie’s opening scene. I love to close my eyes and imagine the song and the words that speak to you. The song’s lyrics explain that Moana is pure and dedicated and just wants to adventure out in the ocean, following her brave heart and strives to see what the future holds for her. I enjoy listening to specific parts in songs where you can hear harmony between the singers and can make you feel more like you are on an island on Hawaii.
