I picked the song “Chulu Chululu” because it is full of energy and has so many fun aspects within the song. The song was released in 1958 and is seen as a popular party song. I love how the song has a very catchy rhythm and beat to it. Additionally, the vocals have such a full sound with the harmonies. I originally found the song on Spotify, but I was able to find a more original sound on YouTube. The version of the song I found is sung by the Nakamaka Villagers. This song is said to be well-known throughout Fiji and the Pacific. It has also been covered by many different groups such as The Kingston Trio, Bill Sevesi, and Maria Dallas.
