Stray Kids Gone Away 

The Song Gone Away was sung by Stray Kids, a group from South Korea, and they are a boy band, who were most popular through the 2017/2018 years, also getting publicity through reality TV shows during that time as well. Overall from this song, the boy band wanted to express lyrics that are going to connect strongly to the listeners mainly about love. In addition, this song is heavily about love, and how when you are in a relationship you are not able to do anything about the other partner leaving, where the love is then gone. With many references to memories erased, pain, emotions, heartbreak, and an overall message of deep healing from heartbreak through a relationship. 

As this song is from South Korea, as well as China, and Japan, is all a part of East Asia’s music. Most of the music from this region is going to have many contributions on why, who, and what music is made. With many cultural influences as well, East Asia has typically older, elders sing songs, as it is part of their religious beliefs and elders bring health and wellness. Many songs are going to come from cultural influences, like religion, funerals, health, festivals, beliefs, and hopes for the future.
