This song is from Thailand and I like how lively it is! This piece includes a couple of different instruments that we talked about in class. The one that stood out to me the most was the Ranat ek, which is the instrument that looks a lot like a xylophone. This instrument gives the song a very upbeat feeling, and I found myself really enjoying the piece as I listened to it. It was really cool to also be able to see them performing, as apposed to just listening to them perform. It really helps us as listeners understand the music better and create a deeper connection to the music.
