I chose this song for a couple of reasons. For starters I find the Tambura to be such a beautiful instrument that seems to leave my mind thinking about nothing except the song being played. I find the style and rhythm of the Hindustani Raga music very peaceful yet fun and light. Another reason this song was a choice for me was because it reminds of a music used in Greek music called the Bouzouki. They sound sort of similar and have the same style of fun and light rhythm.
