I found this song on Spotify while scrolling through a playlist of Native Hawaiian Artists. The artist name is Maoli, who creates reggae and country music. This song “What My World Spins Around” has aspects of both country and reggae and it sounds amazing. I never thought those two genres could be combined, the bass sets a nice beat with its contour. The idiophones and membranophones give off that reggae feel. The bass has a nice contour throughout the whole piece, keeping a steady Dynamic the whole time.
