The song I chose is “Wagon Wheel” by Old Crow Medicine Show and it’s an example of bluegrass music. I chose this song because when I was looking through bluegrass music on YouTube, this song came up and I was surprised that I had actually heard it before. I listen to country music, but not necessarily bluegrass so it was cool to find a catchy song that I knew already to write about. Throughout the song, there are a couple of banjos, a guitar, an upright bass, and a fiddle being played. The tempo is fairly quick and picks up during the chorus. For the voices, there is one main male voice, along with a few other male voices that come in at certain points throughout the song singing the same lyrics as the main voice. One of the voices has a higher pitch than the others which helps to add more depth to the song.
