Rapura Long Sepha-Kiew Kao, or Harvest Song, is a piphat song from Thailand. This song was from a documentary called “Letter from ASIA” and was preformed by musicians from the fine art department of Thailand, I couldn’t find any specific names of the performers. The song starts off with a man playing an instrument with his mouth (I’m not sure what it is called) and then after a few seconds the four mallet instruments begin playing. There are different melodies to the mallet instruments however sometimes they join the same melody. The tempo picks up quickly at times but then slows down suddenly. In the middle of the song there is a call and response that switches who does the call and who does the response.
