The piece of music I chose is a Mariachi song called El Cascabel, by Mariachi Chavez. It is from Mexico. It starts out with a fiery guitar solo and the rest of the band joins in. There are trumpets, violins, guitars, the guitarron, and many different vocalists sing throughout the song. It sounds like they are telling a story through the music. During the song, every different type of instrument had a solo where the rhythm of the song died down and that instrument got to play alone, and in most cases it was a variation of the melody being played during the song. At the end of the song, all of the band joined in and used operatic voices to close out the song. All of the members of the band were wearing the charos costumes. Sadly, there were no gritos.
