I chose the song “I Shot the Sheriff” by Bob Marley and the Wailers because they were so influential to Caribbean music and still are to this day. I love listening to reggae music because it’s so different than what our ears are used to listening to. Like we spoke about it class, there is an offbeat feel to it, not in a bad way just a different way and I love it. This song “I Shot the Sheriff” was released in 1973, about 8 years before his death. This song has been redone multiple times since the release as it was such a hit!
