I really enjoyed listening to the Samba example in class from Brazil, so I went online and looked up the most popular brazilian samba songs. I did not find any that I loved, then I remembered that there is a song from the movie Rio that I really like. The song is called Mas Que Nada, and it is a part of the Rio soundtrack. This song reminds me of my childhood. It has the elements of a classic samba. The instruments that are involved in this song are the guitar, piano, bombos, violins, and a shaker. There are also vocalizations at the beginning followed by many voices. then, a main voice sings followed by many voices. This song has a calming, and groovy element to it.
