The video I picked has a combination of songs from different parts of South America with wide range of instruments and tempos/rhythms. The video starts off with playing a familiar style of music called salsa, there was a small group of people, and one was playing the guitar while another was playing the violin, trumpets, and clacker.  The music was fast paced and its common in salsa music that the trumpets are the main instrument played. Next was samba music and this one was interesting because it was a large ensemble playing and it sounds almost like jazz compared to salsa, with saxophones and trumpets giving samba music a jazzier feel. The rumba style of music had an action feeling to it with the congas, and the trumpets guitar and pianos, reminded me of Mario racing games and adventure films the drums didn’t seem in sync with the rest of the instruments, but it worked with the overall sound of the music. The overall commonality of these songs I’ve notice was the use of trumpets, violins and guitars.
