This is a famous song that was made in 1998. The song is very upbeat and happy, once I looked up the lyrics and realized what it was about, it made a lot of sense. They reference the sound a tumbi makes, and the video, although not really accepted by his peers in India, is a beautiful showing of what some of the wealth in India has to offer. I really liked this song although it does feel a little westernized by how up beat it is and some of the instruments, but at the same time you don’t have to watch the video to know where the music came from.
