My first impression of this piece is drums, symbols or some sort of drum symbol, rattles, and voice. Looking deeper, there is the thumb piano, drums, vocals(older and younger kids), Hosho, etc. There seems to be a call and response with the voices and the beat is steady but more upbeat(High energy). I chose this example because learning about African music culture, it opened my eyes a bit more and it’s very interesting. They can also do traditional dances.
