This was a performance by Anoushka Shankar, performing a a song called “Voice of the moon” with her Tambura. This type of music is from India, and the performance was on Oct 5 2016. I found this on YouTube when searching Tambura performances, and the reason why I chose this example was because It reminded me of the performance we saw in class, where they also performed sitting on the patterned carpets.
