Mohsen Yeganeh – Behet Ghol Midam ( I promise you ) – YouTube I thought this was an interesting song to share because of its modern feel. Aside from it being in a different language, it sounds like something that would come on while listening to a radio station in my car. It also was unique to see an Iranian song in more of a ‘concert’ setting which I would imagine as more of a western culture characteristic. Another unique component of this song share that caught my eye was the way in which they set up this performance. All of the members of this band are in a straight line seated at the front of the stage with the main singer in the center. This is quite different from western culture concerts. Usually, the singer is at the front moving around, and all of the accompanying instruments are in the background and not noticed or seen as much as the lead singer.
