This is a new song, released by Wael Kfoury in 2022, a popular artist from Lebanon. The lyrics are in Arabic, and when translated, they tell a story about a woman that the singer fell in love with and saying that she’s the love of his life. This song combines what most would recognize as more classic Middle Eastern sounds, with what sounds like the ud at the beginning and drums throughout, with some of our Western pop. Overall, this is a fun listen because it combines some of what we know with something from the Middle East, and it’s a pretty catchy song as well.
