I chose the song “Ranjha” by Anvita Dutt Guptan, Jasleen Royal, B Praak, Romy. I chose this song because it is a beautiful story about how hard it is to say goodbye to someone you love. I may not understand the language but I am able to appreciate the story and learn what is being said because of closed captions. I really like this song because it reminds me a lot of western love ballads but it also brings in the culture from India that makes it such a beautiful song. Another reason as to why I chose this because the music video was so beautiful and it showed the story they were trying to convey in the lyrics perfectly.
