Lakalaka by Te Vaka is a song inspired by Disney. The title of this song is translated to stepping. This song tells us that we are all together on this Earth and stand up for our beliefs. It also tells us that we are all different, which is perfectly normal.
During the music, the vocals switch from a female to a male. It is also a very happy song that makes you want to get up and dance, which is why I chose it. Lakalaka starts like a chant, and the drums are a response to the guy. The music video shows the traditional Hawaiian dance, the hula.
