I chose the song “Aloha Oe”  is a folk by Liliuokalani. I chose it for a few different reasons. The first reason is I just looked up “Hawaiian music” and that was the first song that came up. I enjoy listening to any type of hawaiian song because it just puts me in a happy mood. The second reason I chose this song is because it is in Lilo and Stitch and I really love that disney movie. The purpose of this song is to say farewell to someone. I thought that would have been the case because after listening to it, it is a very sad song. The song uses very little musical instruments and it sounds like maybe a piano or some other sad sounding instruments. Even though before I said that Hawaiian music puts me in a happier mood, this song does make me sad. I enjoy listening to calm music sometimes and then it puts me in a happier mood.
