I chose “Love Is Real” by Morgan Evans for my song because I was lucky enough to go to a concert a couple of years ago and he was one of the openers. I learned at the concert that he was an Australian singer. “Love Is Real” is a song about how the simplest things can mean the most when you’re falling in love. I chose this song because “Love Is Real” feels like a summer song, the type of song you listen to in your car with your windows down in the middle of summer. It’s the type of song that makes you want to listen to it over and over again. It has good vibes, a very sing-able melody, and distinct guitar playing that shows that it’s very much a country song.
