One of my favorite American artists is Taylor Swift. When she first broke out into the music industry Taylor was more of a country artist than a pop artist. Due to the behaviors of people around her as well as a change in preferences she changed her music genre to more pop than country music. The thing that makes Taylor stand out to me is that; first, she uses her voice to make a difference in the world. Second, she creates songs that a lot of people can relate to. You Need To Calm Down imparticular fights for people in the LGBTQ+ community.
